As a SEO Expert I always consider:
- Relevance wins over back links every time.
- Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) in conjunction with a solid silo designed website structure is the key to establishing relevance.
- Theme density on a single web page is not sufficient. Need to consider entire website to incorporate a linking structure that supports theme density.
- The content should be written for human and should be optimized for robots.
What is Silo Structure?
The silo structure is the strategy of designing your website and internal linking in such a way that the content will not mix-up. For example If you have two big piles, one pile is corn and the other is strawberries. You don’t want to mix those two crops together, so you put them in silos.
If you consider website category with silos and content page with pile, you can understand silo structure very well. On a website, these silos or categories are the sections of your website which contain the content that is optimized for your secondary keywords.
- Create Category pages.
- Create Content pages for each Category page.
- Creating fresh content for site is the key to increasing value with the search engine.
- Build internal links between content pages from same category.
- Do off page activities for creating back links for each category
This is a really good tip especially to those new to the blogosphere.
